About Us

We specialise in using a process known as vacuum metalising or physical vapour deposition (PVD) to provide high quality metallic finishes for a wide range of different applications and industries. We also undertake conventional spray paint work. We have one of the most comprehensive and modern facilities in our sector in the UK and are ISO 9001:2015 certificated.

Our Process

Components are fixed to a jig or satellite and undergo an anti static and plasma cleaning procedure. A base lacquer is applied either by spray painting or by flow coating. Vacuum Metalising or PVD (physical vapour deposition) then takes place where a metal (usually aluminium) is evaporated under vacuum inside a chamber onto the components. Finally, a clear or tinted top lacquer or a protector or silicone “in chamber top coat” can be applied.

Sectors

Metalising and spray painted processes can be applied to an almost infinite number of products or components. They are broadly speaking split into functional or decorative coatings and some of the main applications are highlighted below.
